A bombardment of self promotion

Come and see my new products on my new website! ;)

You know as soon as that pops up in front of you on your screen the prospect of having a tooth removed without pain relief is more tempting. This constant relentless blitzkrieg of drivel makes me want to surrender. Quite frankly if your modus operandi is purely to get noticed, because you think you are interesting, you need to get a life! Put some of your energy into saving the planet (or a Panda) and not just your ego. Better still get out there and make real friends and become interesting.

Marketing Products has become more sophisticated..

A constant barrage of self‑promotion on Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok — it’s enough to drive anyone round the bend. The internet in 2026 is far more sophisticated than this endless churn of “look at me” noise. Reducing it to a delivery system for pure, unfiltered ego‑spam is a travesty. People are smarter now. They know when they’re being sold to, manipulated, or drowned in nonsense. What they actually want is quality.

The modern web is more dynamic — and more demanding — than ever. Updating your website and social channels regularly still matters, but doing it without becoming a complete pain in the arse to your audience is the real skill. Fresh content keeps people returning, but relentless content drives them away just as fast. If you never update, visitors drift off. If you bombard them, they’ll mute you, unfollow you, or kick you into touch without a second thought.

The rule is simple: Show up with something worth saying — and know when to shut up.

Life is a balance...

The web hosting industry has a negative impact on the environment due to the energy hungry servers that are used to keep the Internet fuelled. We can all try to limit the impact where possible and hosting on a green server is a step in the right direction. More and more people are buying from carbon ethical companies — tackling climate change is an important criteria.

The machines hosting our main site and e‑mail are fully eco‑friendly! As energy awareness continues to grow, people are not just looking to make lifestyle adjustments, they want to make environmentally responsible decisions, powered by renewable energy!
